Installation Guide

General installation overview. Follow the service manual for your exact engine and carburetor configuration. Fuel-system work requires the appropriate skills and precautions.

  1. Verify identification and prepare the engine: Before disconnecting any components, check the engine identification plate and compare the existing carburetor reference number and mounting interfaces against the replacement unit. Confirm whether mounting gasket 3V1-02011-0 / 3V1020110M is on hand. Shut off the engine, allow it to cool completely, isolate the fuel supply and ignition system according to your service manual, and work in a well-ventilated area away from ignition sources.
  2. Document routing and remove the existing carburetor: Record the exact routing and orientation of all fuel lines, breather hoses, throttle linkages, and choke connections before removal. Drain residual fuel from the float bowl as directed by your service manual, unbolt the existing carburetor, and inspect the intake mounting surface to ensure it is clean and free of old gasket residue.
  3.
