3V9-03500-2 Carburetor
This XR Marine product is a replacement carburetor referenced to Nissan / Tohatsu marine outboard OEM numbers 3V9-03500-2, 3V9035002M and 3V9035002. It is supplied for carburetor replacement rather than as a carburetor repair kit.
When verifying compatibility, check the complete required part number, including hyphens and suffixes, and keep 3V9-03500-2, 3V9035002M and 3V9035002 distinct when confirming your engine-specific application. Do not select this carburetor by the Nissan / Tohatsu brand label alone.

Fitment
The 3V9-03500-2 Carburetor from XR Marine requires verification of your exact engine application and complete OEM part number before ordering.
Match the full engine model designation and serial details on your engine identification plate against your official parts catalog, and compare the complete OEM reference number—including hyphens and suffixes—before ordering. Horsepower or the Nissan / Tohatsu brand label alone does not establish fitment.

Installation Guide
General installation overview. Follow the service manual for your exact engine and carburetor configuration. Fuel-system work requires the appropriate skills and precautions.
- Verify identification and prepare the engine: Compare the replacement carburetor and the complete required OEM reference number (3V9-03500-2, 3V9035002M or 3V9035002) against your existing unit and service documentation. Shut off the engine, allow it to cool completely, isolate the fuel supply and ignition system according to the service manual, and work in a well-ventilated area away from ignition sources.
- Document routing and remove the existing carburetor: Before disassembly, label or photograph the orientation of all fuel hoses, throttle and choke linkages, mounting hardware and sealing surfaces. Remove the old carburetor following the service manual procedures, and inspect the intake mounting flange, hoses and linkage points for wear or damage.
- Install, connect and inspect for leaks: Mount the replacement carburetor and reconnect all linkages and fuel lines according to the manufacturer's service manual, ensuring smooth, unobstructed throttle and choke operation. Restore the fuel supply to check carefully for any fuel seepage, then perform a test run and any required adjustments only with proper cooling water supply connected; stop immediately if any fuel leak, binding or abnormal operation occurs.
Before You Order
A careful fitment check helps you choose the right part the first time.
- Match the full engine model designation on the identification plate.
- Verify your engine's exact model, production year and serial number in your official parts catalog before ordering.
- Compare the complete OEM reference number, including its suffix. Horsepower or appearance alone is not enough.
- Confirm the package contents and the quantity needed for your repair.
- Keep 3V9-03500-2, 3V9035002M and 3V9035002 distinct when checking your application, and do not select this carburetor by the Nissan / Tohatsu brand label alone.
